Current Projects

School Lane, Blackburn

These two houses with a combined value in excess of £300,000 are currently under construction, and will benefit from NHBC "Buildmark" Warranty.

The houses are of traditional cavity wall construction, using red rustic facing bricks, and will include the latest amendments to the building regulations in terms of disabled access and energy efficiency. Internal fixtures and fittings will be selected by the client from several samples of value for money products which we will provide, in line with the client's budget.

This project resulted from a recommendation from an architect with whom we have worked closely in the past.

Single Storey Extension, Rochdale

This project is currently being piled after we carried out some intrusive ground investigation to ascertain the existing foundation design and ground conditions. The new space will provide extended kitchen facilities, and in due course we will design a quality kitchen area which suits all our client's requirements.

This project also resulted from a recommendation and we expect to present our client with a high quality product in just a few weeks' time.

The Old Post Office, Firgrove

The former Post Office at 230 Rochdale Road will provide office headquarters for Turnstone Developments Ltd, along with a luxury 2 bedroom apartment above for private rent. The apartment will benefit from separate access via an outside staircase, along with its own off – road parking area.

From outside, the building with natural flagged stone roof and coursed stone walls will retain its original character, with the addition of new uPVC windows in company colours and new signage.

Charlesworth Particular Baptist Church

Turnstone Developments Ltd are delighted to be working with the church fellowship at Charlesworth in providing structural repairs, roof repairs and new powder coated aluminium gutters and downspouts to the Baptist Chapel.

This small project is scheduled to be completed in just two weeks whilst causing the minimum of disruption to the worshipping congregation.
